Strathpine District Roll of Honour

History

The Honour Board was designed by a leading Brisbane metal worker, Ernest Gunderson, in 1921. It was commissioned by the Strathpine Patriotic League and hung in the Pine Rivers Shire Hall (Old Shire Hall) until 1980 when it was moved to the local RSL Club at Kallangur.

It lists 77 servicemen from all corners of the old Pine Shire, known to have been serving or paying the ultimate sacrifice for King and Country.

It is currently inside the entrance of the Norths Leagues & Services Club at Kallangur.
