Narangba & Dakabin Roll of Honour

History

Narangba, September 1st 1919 “The Honour Roll of soldiers presented by the residents of Narangba and Dakabin, was unveiled on the railway station which was gaily decorated with flags.  Mr S Sinnamon presided, he introduced Mr C Taylor M.L.A. who gave an interesting and appropriate address.  Mrs T Petrie of Murrumba, unveiled the Honour Board and the company, together with the schoolchildren sang the National Anthem. Certificates were presented to returned men from the Caboolture Shire”.  The Board now is in the Narangba Community Hall.

It lists 18 Servicemen from around the Narangba and Dakabin area known to have been serving or paying the ultimate sacrifice for King and Country.
